About Reli. Oxo-Biodegradable Trash Bags:

Each trash bag uses ASTM 6954-certified EPI additives for oxo-biodegradability. Each case includes 1000 Trash Bags developed and distributed using Reli's global and domestic operations to enable premium quality, while supporting environmental friendliness as well as wholesale quantity & prices. All of the bags are green in color to provide a visually appealing look while indicating eco-friendliness and hiding trash bag contents. Extent and quickness of degradation will depend on surrounding environment and product formulation. Trash bags will degrade when placed in soil or commercial compost in the presence of microorganisms, moisture and oxygen. In examples, EPI additives can speed up degradation (by 100's to 1000's of times faster compared to conventional bags), and can facilitate total degradation within 24 - 36 months when disposed in an appropriate environment (such as a soil environment).
